Memorial Day

Memorial Day was the nicest weather of the weekend. It was sunny and really warm!!! Jacob and I went to the big Zeeland parade, while Jason was busy mowing the lawn at Croswell and filling in the holes from the stumps we pulled out. Jacob and I also went out to Mom and Dad house for some relaxing with Jacob's Great-Grandpa. We had Mom's traditional memorial day coffee cake and then got OBI chicken for a late lunch. Grandpa was busy all day working on his raft. Mom thought it was fun to call him Huck Finn.

First Trip to the Cabin

We took Jacob up to the cabin for the first time this weekend. We enjoyed taking him for his first trip to the lake to feed the fish. Jacob however was not so thrilled with sleeping in the pack
'n play but did like sleeping in the elephant chair. Jacob's big cousin Gisele was also at the cabin for the weekend. She is very busy walking around checking everything out. She was also very interested in using Jacob's bouncer.

Happy Little Guy

Jacob has been loving his playmat. He can keep himself entertained kicking and hitting his little toys. Check out how happy he is to play.

Jacob got all dressed up for his first Tulip Time, but couldn't keep his eyes open for a picture.

Meeting New People

Jacob met lots of new people this week. He had his first play date and went to school to see all of mom's students. Both Jacob and Cameron slept through the entire play date, but mom got time to catch up with her friend and fellow teacher. While visiting the middle school Jacob was a little overwhelmed. I think we have all the germs washed off of him now that were home. :)

Shots

Jacob had his two month appointment on Monday and got his first shots at the doctors office. Poor little guy didn't know what hit him. (I had to hold back tears just watching him.) He is still pretty little but the doctor is happy with his growth. He now weights 9 lbs. 7 oz. is 21.5 inches and has a head circumference of 37.5 cm.
