He's Back!!!

Enjoying Mommy and Daddy's "pretty pretty" Christmas tree!

Yup, I bet not many of you knew it but Jacob was gone for the weekend and boy did we miss him. We forgot how quiet it is around her with just little Deacon to care for. Jacob was lucky enough to go up North with Grandpa and Grandma DeWitt, Aunt Ashley, Gisele and Uncle Eric. With Jacob gone Jason, Deacon and I were able to get the tree up, do a little shopping and take Deacon's 3 month pictures. Hopefully we will get Deacons pictures edited and printed soon!!!

When Jacob got home today he was so excited to see the tree. He kept saying pretty, pretty!! Thankfully he also has his own little tree to put his ornaments. He doesn't have very many (5) so the two of us had it decorated pretty quickly and now all he can do is sign and say more ornaments in his cute little voice. I guess maybe we can find some cute little plastic ones at the store tomorrow.

Jacob has also been enjoying his "drink" since returning home. I'm not sure what he thinks is in there but he sure likes it!!

THANKS FOR HAVING JACOB TO THE CABIN GRANDPA AND GRANDMA!! I'M SURE HE HAD A GREAT TIME!!

Florida

The boys and I spent the last week in Florida while Jason went to Iowa and then did some hunting in Michigan for the gun opener. Jacob loved the Ocean and was super spoiled by Grandma and Aunt Ashley. Deacon had his first flight and swim, thankfully he continued to be his happy content self and allowed Mommy, Grandma, and Aunt Ashley to get a little sun.

The Dentist and a little bit more

I thought since I took a blogging hiatus I would do a quick update post on Jacob and Deacon. Jacob has been so cute lately always saying and doing something new. He is such a little copy cat everyone has to watch what they say around him. Jacob continues to be obsessed with Quincy he just giggles and plays with her all day long. Even using her as a chair to sit and read his books on. Jacob also went to the Dentist today for his first real cleaning. He also got to see his uncle tom the dentist.

Deacon continues to be such a good little baby. He is getting to be more alert even though everyone still thinks he sleeps all day he really doesn't anymore. He is really getting good at doing his little baby push ups during tummy time and smiling tons. I love hearing his little coo when I talk to him after his feedings. He is starting to get a little bit of Jacob's personality about eating not being a very big eater anymore. Oh, well maybe Deacon (Frank the Tank) wont be such a tank after all. Sorry I only have one picture with Deacon in it since Halloween. I guess tomorrow I should take some of his little smiles.

Happy Halloween!!! The boys and I had a fun week of getting dressed up numerous times for costume party playdates and visiting great grandparents. Thankfully both boys enjoyed being in their costumes!!! Jacob didn't get to visit with all of his little friends and some of them were sleeping when we did see them. All in all it was a fun Halloween and Jacob didn't eat too much candy!!!
