Thursday night already??

After our eventful weekend with Deacon at the hospital this week is flying by and I feel like I haven't had a chance to catch my breath. Hopefully this weekend is a little more relaxed. Our last few days in review: Monday was filled with doctors appointments and monitoring little Deacon. Who fortunately is doing much better. Thanks for your prayers! Tuesday we spent time with friends and had a visit from Grandma before she left for Florida. Lucky Grandma!!! Wednesday was Kindermusik for Jacob so we got to spend a little time with my mom after she watched Deacon. Today we didn't go anywhere all day. I worked on lots of little project that Jacob attempted to help with all the while begging to make cookies. In Kindermusik right now were are talking and singing about cookies. Then when Daddy got home we headed out to Cranes to pick apples but because we got there so late we decided to just have dinner and try to get back another time. He didn't even like them when we were finished. :( The picture at the top of the post is Jacob's devastation when he found out the baking meant the cookies had to go into the oven and we couldn't just eat them after we mixed them up. Maybe next time I'll try a no bake recipe with him.
