Brotherly Love, Smiles and a Walk

Jacob is beginning to show more interest in his little brother this week including wanting to hold him. However, having an 18 month old hold a 1 month old is something of a challenge. Then try catching it on camera. Here are a few pics of how it goes when I try to let Jacob hold Deacon. Doesn't Deacon look scared???

They both seem happier to stare at each other.
Deacon is also doing lots of smiling this week. Grandma though she saw a little dimple on Monday, we will have to catch some more smiles to know for sure. This is the only picture of a smile I have so far but the bright sunshine made him close his eyes. Hopefully we will get one with his eyes open real soon.

This morning we headed out to Millennium Park to do a walk for food allergies in honor of cousin Gabe. Here are a few pictures of the fun!
Getting ready for the walk. Jacob was getting hydrated with lots of water and then giving the main man Gabe lots of love.
Strapped in and ready for the big walk!!
Enjoying a nice lunch at Max and Ermas
The day would not have been complete without a crawling race and a wrestling match. Jacob was so tired from the big morning he fell asleep on the way home.

Thanks again for walking with us! Love the pics of Jacob and Deacon. It was so much fun to watch Gabe and Jacob wrestle and chase each other. It was so funny when Jacob lifted Gabe's shirt to see if he had Elmo on his diaper. So cute!
